About Marion Chan

A FRACS board certified plastic surgeon supporting your surgical journey.

As a plastic surgeon, I hear many of the frustrations that patients go through when deciding to undergo reconstructive or plastic surgery.

Everything from “Is plastic surgery ok?” to “Is there any difference between a cosmetic and plastic surgeon?” (hint, there is). The reality is, surgery is a big deal – for you, and for those around you.

Working in both public and private hospitals means I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to treat a diverse range of patients. And whether the surgical procedure you’re considering is a breast lift, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), blepharoplasty or an upper limb injury, the most important part of what we as surgeons can do for you (outside our skill to perform the surgery of course) is having the ability to listen to your questions and concerns.

One of the most common frustrations I hear from both my aesthetic and reconstructive patients, is that they just want the time to be heard.

Understandably, this can be an anxious process for you – especially when you are having surgery for the first time, or, are unfamiliar with the nature of the operation required. With that comes many questions coupled with an important decision making process.

As your primary surgeon, my goal is not only to get you through your surgical procedure with the best result possible, but also to make your surgical journey as easy and stress-free as it can be.

I always strive to give you the most honest, unfiltered advice – even if it’s possibly not what you want to hear.

From our very first consultation, you’ll always have my undivided attention to answer any concerns, questions or anything that may be hurdles to achieving the results you’re after on your surgical journey.
